Man I really should have updated this thing two weeks ago when I first arrived in Shanghai, but well....better late than never. XD;;;;

Anyway to bring anyone up to speed, I've been studying abroad in Shanghai for about two weeks so far, this being the start of the third. and the program is five weeks long. It's been pretty interesting time as it's the first time I've been out of the country in three years let alone living in a dorm. It's still pretty surreal to me that I'm even here, not to mention that it's been 2 weeks already, it feels like I've been here a lot longer! XD

Now for my once in a blue moon update, yay!

So nothing much going on, except school and work, but that's normal. Last weekend was Yule-con and it was a nice chill con. I got to see Atoli, Jamie, and Robert again, which was nice since I haven't seen them since A-fest.

So this week was okay, summer school finished for me on Thursday and now I finally got all my assignments turned in. Now time to relax for a bit, until you know school starts up again ;A;

Anyway, went with legit, Prophet, and his little sister to see the midnight showing of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. I saw a so many people from my high school and junior high days that it was weird. It felt kind of nostalgic XD. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, despite not having read the comic at all, and all the video game references they put in there made me smile :). Got home pretty late and pretty much went to bed, though I was kind of sad to miss out on the meteor shower, but I had the feeling that I probably wouldn't have seen it anyway since it wasn't really clear outside.

On Friday, I went to work and it was an okay day, but there was this one group of customers that really stood out, these grandparents came in with there grandson and his mother and they wanted to buy a Xbox 360 so he could have something to do while he was visiting. Now they were pretty nice and I would have thought it was somewhat sweet, if the kid didn't act spoiled >.< But the weird thing was when the mom was asking the kid if he wanted Lego Harry Potter he said no, and so she then asks him, "You don't like magic then?" and he replies "I hate magic". Then I hear his grandfather, who's standing next to him reply "Good boy".
And after that I really didn't know what to think about what he meant, I was kind of going "Huh". But after that it was smooth sailing until lo behold some stupid customers want to trade in a pile of games 10 minutes before we close >.<. My MOD and I were not happy.

So now I totally need to get my cosplay done, I can't believe A-fest is almost here!

Well it's been a while lj a long while, and probably its going to be months again before I make another post. But yeah, onto my day, it started out pretty ok got back from Prophet's cast/pajama party at around 1. The people there were pretty laid back and cool, and I got to play DDR against Prophet and a person named Monty who happens to be Jewish as he stated pretty proudly. Prophet called it a match between a Jew and an Asian. Quite an interesting match as you can see.

So yeah, this weekend has been pretty awesome so far. Starting off with puni_puni_pinku's karaoke party on Friday night. It was so much fun even if it started at 10 PM XD.

Ok time to actually use this thing so story time! ^-^;

Well for anyone who actually reads this thing, I happen to work at Gamestop, not the best place in the world to work, but that's not the point of the story, so here it is.

But other than that, I'm totally excited about my birthday coming up this Saturday :D, but the party will be on Friday, so double the fun!

So I just got back from my eyelid surgery and now I'm just chilling and eating pho. It wasn't that bad of an experience as I thought, the only thing that really hurt was the numbing shot they had to give me on my eyelid, and it wasn't THAT painful. Infact it was kind of weird just sitting there while he took out the pimple and it went surprising fast. When it was over he told me that if there we're bloody tears that it was normal and at that point I loled a little inside, as it made me think "OMG! it's like those cliched vampire fics!". So as of this moment I have bloody tears XD.
Well I guess that's it, an interesting afternoon to start the day off. I can't wait until later this evening for round 2 of legit and ranchan03's food eating contest. It's going to be a blast ^^.

So it's been two days since New Years and I decided to get off my lazy butt and decide to post on this thing. I really wonder why I have an lj sometimes ^-^;.

But to start things off, Happy New years to all my friends and people on my f-list, I hope this year will be a good one for everyone! ^^
