Karaoke, sleepover, and russian!

So yeah, this weekend has been pretty awesome so far. Starting off with puni_puni_pinku's karaoke party on Friday night. It was so much fun even if it started at 10 PM XD.
Ok,Friday started off with school as usual and Russian was uneventful, but what was amazing was that our TX Gov teacher let us out early after she passed out the tests, saying how she was proud of our class and that we had the best test scores compared to all her other classes :D. I <3 my Gov. teacher, she's so fun and cool X3.

Anyway went home and did nothing but get ready for Karaoke and the sleepover at zr841's, waiting for kamachiono, her friend Ryan, and Sai to come over. I wore Ema Skye to go with kamachiono's Maya, Sai had a really cute lolita dress and Ryan was in Russia from Hetalia.
So we went to Super H mart for purikura, which was fun and I never knew that we could stuff so many people in one booth XD. It was kamachiono's first time taking purikura and she was really excited about it. We also met this awesome Edgeworth cosplayer (sorry I didn't get your name >.<) who we had fun talking to. And then we went to karaoke.
I think we reserved the biggest room there but it was still packed and even more people came throughout the night. A few highlights were singing Haruka Kanata and just screaming the lyrics, Gay Bar, and everyone singing Thriller X3. kamachiono and I were really sad that poutmeter couldn't come though >.<

But yeah, it was pretty close to 2 AM when we all left, I drove back to kamachiono's house to drop off Sai and Ryan at their cars and then went back to my house so kamachiono could get her car then it was off to the sleepover!
Basically we came in to them playing Boom Blocks and the guys alternating between writing a Batman fanfic, which I still haven't read yet, and I'm not even sure if I want to read it at all from the first paragraph I got off it >.<
We then proceeded to get food from Jack in the Box, and watched Bookdock Saints while we were eating. Then there was more shenanigans with Boom Blox and Borderlands, which Prophet was fanboying over XD. This lasted until 6 AM where I was about to fall asleep on the spot. Everyone went to sleep but were woken up early at 10 AM partially by Chris' alarmm clock that wouldn't stop, and me getting up to go to the bathroom. poutmeter had to leave early for work, and we just sat around playing more Boom Blocks until we all went to get lunch at Subway. But there was some miscommunication so half of us went to a different Subway XD. We all just met back at the apartment and ate there, and you guessed it, played more Boom Blocks XD. Then around 3 we all left to go home, where I proceeded to hole myself in my room and work on the Russian workbook, which I'm still doing now XD.

Karaoke pictures!

I <3 his costume, and it made me smile :D

Crappy shot is crappy.

And more of everyone! That Mario has such an awesome voice!

That's all I have, I'm sad I didn't take more, everyone there had such amazing costumes!

Customer freaks out over $3

Ok time to actually use this thing so story time! ^-^;

Well for anyone who actually reads this thing, I happen to work at Gamestop, not the best place in the world to work, but that's not the point of the story, so here it is.

I was working last night with my SGA Whitney and it was going smoothly until later in the evening around 7 or 8 when this customer walks in with his kid and a couple of games to trade-in, pretty normal so far. Whitney takes the trades and when she's doing it, a lot of the games are pretty scratched up, so we have to defect it out and the system charges a refurbishing fee for them. One of them, "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" for the Xbox 360, was one of the scratched up disks, so we defected it out. The game was originally worth $8 in store credit, but the refurbishing fee charged $3 and when he found out about that he flipped out. He started going on about how he was a loyal customer at the store and that she was taking away his money, how he knew the store manager and everything. And then he goes on to say that he wants to know who the district manager is and he wants to get in contact with him, also he keeps going on about how he'll get her fired and that she won't work her anymore.

While this is going on, she's trying to talk to him about how other customers would not buy these games in this condition and how WE cannot do anything personally about the fee as it is in the system, but he keeps going on and on. So she asks if he would like to talk to the manager and he agrees, so she calls up our store manager and he talks to the customer and then to her. In the end she gave him his whole $8 for the game and apologized for any inconvenience. Then we proceeded to have a little laugh at how it was all over $8 and he wasted almost an hour of his and our time complaining about it.

So yeah that's my little story for the day.

But other than that, I'm totally excited about my birthday coming up this Saturday :D, but the party will be on Friday, so double the fun!

Eyelid Surgery

So I just got back from my eyelid surgery and now I'm just chilling and eating pho. It wasn't that bad of an experience as I thought, the only thing that really hurt was the numbing shot they had to give me on my eyelid, and it wasn't THAT painful. Infact it was kind of weird just sitting there while he took out the pimple and it went surprising fast. When it was over he told me that if there we're bloody tears that it was normal and at that point I loled a little inside, as it made me think "OMG! it's like those cliched vampire fics!". So as of this moment I have bloody tears XD.
Well I guess that's it, an interesting afternoon to start the day off. I can't wait until later this evening for round 2 of poutmeter and ranchan03's food eating contest.
New Years....a really belated new years post

So it's been two days since New Years and I decided to get off my lazy butt and decide to post on this thing. I really wonder why I have an lj sometimes ^-^;.

But to start things off, Happy New years to all my friends and people on my f-list, I hope this year will be a good one for everyone! ^^

New Years eve for me had two highlights, one I had to stay back at work almost two hours after my shift ended, and that I got a major stomach ache as well.
Not sure if I mention this already, but I work at Gamestop, and I have been for about two years, which is pretty sad. I think one of the only reasons I'm still working there is that I like my co-workers and my schedule is pretty flexible. Anyway for some reason on New Years eve it seems like everyone has to go to Gamestop, and we we're freaking slammed that day. Not to mention that it was only me and my manager on duty that we're working, so we we're a bit overwhelmed. By the end of the day, when we finally closed at 6, our store was trashed. All the sections had holes and I found more than one game in weird sections and places. That was the day that everyone also decided that they wanted to trade in their games and systems >.<. By the time I left when I finished cleaning it was almost 8 and I heard my MOD didn't leave until 9.

We're both still wondering why people feel the need to go to Gamestop on New Years eve, but we came up with an amusing theory that the parents wanted to get something for their kids to keep them busy while they did their thing on New Years (AKA getting drunk).

By the time I got home, I was exhausted and happy that I could relax, I ate a lot of good food and I was relaxing until I was hit by a pretty bad stomach ache. So as I was watching the ball drop my stomach was waging war on me >.<. Definately not a pleasant experience.

But despite all the set backs I still had a good New Years and I hope this year will be filled with more good memories and friends. ^^

Vacation

Well I guess you've all been wondering where I've been for the last two weeks....or maybe not because I hardly ever update this journal XD.
I guess if anyone is interested, I was on vacation for two weeks to Japan and Taiwan. Now I have a couple of words to describe it.

Fun but exhausting.

So yeah I left on the 11th after going to Avenue Q with some friends, which was awesome by the way and I would recommend if it's playing in your area to see it. Anyway after that got home late and just stayed up with my brother until 3 am, as that's when we had to get up and get ready. Our family took a taxi to the airport where we had to wait two hours for the flight to Chicago. Then from Chicago on we finally flew to Tokyo. It was such a long flight, almost 14 hours >.<. And sitting in the middle sucks, especially when you want to go the bathroom.

So we're finally in Tokyo and we meet our tour guide and get settled into our first hotel, which was pretty nice. It had and AMPM there and I bought triple berry Kit Kats ^^. But the next day, we checked out of the hotel and all piled into the tour bus for the tour to actually start. The first city we visited was Tokyo itself which was pretty cool. I got to visit a nice busy market that sold a lot of interesting things in Asakusa and looked around Ginza which was nice. But the one thing that disappointed me was the fact I never got to go to certain places that I always wanted to go to, like Akihabara, Shibuya, and Tokyo Tower >.<. Seriously Tokyo Tower has been one of my dream places. Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you go on a tour.
But the tour wasn't that bad, we got to see so many different places in Japan. We went to Hakone the next day, and we got to eat black eggs which are boiled in the sulphur rich springs, stayed in a hotel with tatami mat rooms, and had to wear a yukata for dinner. The next day we got on the bullet train to Osaka which was really fun; the train moves so fast ^0^.
Osaka had a lot of interesting stuff to see and we went to Osaka Castle, which my brother told me he invaded in Samurai Warriors XD
The next few days we're sort of a blur for me all I remember is going to Kobe and visiting this market where I got some cute souvenirs for friends.
The one thing I do remember is Kyoto ^^. It's such a fun place, and there's so much history there! Not to mention my brother and I bought a lot of Shinsengumi related stuff, like the jackets ^^. Also we stayed in a five star hotel that night, the Kyoto Hotel Okura, which is pretty nice, and one of the best hotels we stayed in during the trip. Kyoto was also the place I got to try tonkatsu for the first time. We wen through this secluded alley way to this really nice restaurant which was pretty packed so we had to wait in line. But when we finally got settled in our food came by pretty quickly. And it is so good =w=, seriously the sauce is amazing and I had fun grounding up my own sesame seeds ^^.
That night there was also some parade going on, though I'm not sure what for, and I got to see priests and horses on the streets.
We finally ended our tour on Friday and left Japan at the airport in Osaka on Saturday.

It took two hours to fly to Taiwan and so we arrived in Taipei around 2 or three. When we got settled into our hotel our family took taxis to visit the Huaxi Street Tourist Night Market which was an interesting experience. There were so many things there and so much interesting stuff to see. There was even a guy holding a snake. After looking around for a bit we stopped to get some dinner. and found a really nice seafood restaurant, Tainan Peddler Noodle. The food was amazing and really fresh and the service is excellent. After dinner we took cabs to visit the famous 101 which is really cool. We rode on the world's fastest elevator to the observation deck. And the elevator really goes fast, so fast my ears popped 0.0. But the view from up the tower is so pretty ^^.
Sad to say that I really don't remember much of Taiwan, because I don't remember much the names of the places we went to. Except for Kaohsiung, and Hualien, which is a pretty nice small city. But there is one thing I remember seeing a lot of in Taiwan and that is temples, SO many temples @.@. I think that's what most of our tour consisted of, that and Kenting National park and Marble gorge in Hualien, but mostly temples. On our last day we took a train back to Taipei from Hualien and stayed in the same hotel as our first day. That night we went to another night market, I forgot the name, but it was so packed! I mean really packed, and it was a lot bigger than the other night markets we went to. So many interesting shops, and there are especially a lot of clothes stores there. My dad said it's very popular with young people and I can see why.
The next day we packed up our things and left for the airport. The plane trip was a lot shorter only about 10 or 11 hours and I kept myself busy playing with my DS XD. So we left Taiwan on Friday afternoon and came back to the states on Friday morning. I still don't really get timezones and it seemed to me that we went back in time XD.

So yeah that was my trip, a lot of fun but so tiring. And I really do want to go back to those places again, just probably not with a tour and visiting the places that I want to to go to at my own pace. ^-^

My Birthday

It's my birthday!
Or at least it was as of yesterday the 27th ^-^;. I had an awesome party with a lot my friends, got some nifty presents, and had an awesome fruit tart baked by my friend ^-^. Not to mention I got to blow out my candle on my cake 19 times, we only had one in the house XD.
And now we're having a sleepover, and my brother kindly has kindly set up the Gamecube and PS2 in our room.
So my friend kamachiono played some Metal Gear Solid 2 and almost got to Raiden, but the game froze up on us, all in all it was fun seeing Snake run around in a box. And now we're playing Soul Calibur 3 with our created characters, Alice and Rasputin. It's pretty amusing to watch, but shino_stalker is pretty upset over this development between her two favorite characters XD.
Well I guess that's all for tonight, or I guess this morning.
The now one year older ochibi_glomper signing off!

Day of Awesomeness

Wow, yesterday was such an amazing day, I got to hang out with cool friends on cosplay.com and had many fun shenanigans.
So yesterday, was the day all my friends and I we're looking forward to, not only was it the last day of final exams, and AP tests for kamachiono, but it was also the day we we're going to have lunch and hang out with some really cool friends we met at A-kon and Anime-fest. poutmeter was the one that arranged for the meeting, and we all agreed to meet at 4 at Ghengis grill to have lunch. My brother and I arrived there first, and then later poutmeter came. So we all sat down and waited for the rest of the group to come over, she and I we're both kind of nervous of hanging out with Megan and Bri. We both thought it was going to be awkward. Megan arrived first with her friend Romo, her sister was getting off work just then, and we all had a fun time chatting. kamachiono came in next with her boyfriend Rob and then finally Bri arrived.
With everyone there, we all went in line to get our food, and chatted with each other while we all waited. Despite what poutmeter and thought, it wasn't awkward at all, and we hit it off real well. We all talked about cosplay and the most random things, seriously it was so much fun. And Megan and Bri are so cool about giving us advice on cosplay and helping us figures some things out. Well, I guess we had such a good time, that we didn't notice we we're sitting there for about 2 hours ^-^;. When we finally left I kept thinking that the workers there we're relieved that our rowdy group was gone.
So after the food, we asked them if they wanted to play laser quest with us, and they agreed. So we all went arrived there and had a fun time making a human katamari and just plain goofing off while waiting in line to pay. I had the hardest time picking a code name >.<
Finally the game starts and we are drilled through on the rules of the place and we're set loose. It was fun, but I realize that I really suck at laser tag. I kept kept getting shot, by the most random people at the most random times. When it was finally over, I got second to last out of all the people there ^-^;, but Romo got first. At this point we all decided to leave, and so we all said our good-byes to Megan, Bri, and Romo, with the promise of PMing each other on our cosplay.com accounts.
The rest of us all went to our friend Matt's house and played Brawl. Then later me and the rest of the girls all went to go to Marble Slab for some ice cream. And wow the Birthday Bonanza there is so good =w=, but so messy >.<. When we got back we all took a test online to see how many five year olds we could take in a fight, I got 18 and everyone else got a number higher than me, probably because I'm a wimp when it comes to fights XD. After we finished the ice cream we all decided that it was time to leave and so we all went our separate ways home.
Man, it was such and amazing day that totally blew away my expectations. I got to hang out with really cool cosplay friends, and got to go to Marble Slab for some really good ice cream. What better way to end a day than that! ^-^

Macross Frontier

So yeah, this years spring anime season hasn't really caught my eye yet and nothing really stood out to me. The only real thing that I was kind of looking forward to was the second season of Code Geass, and even then I can't really watch it cause I haven't finished the first season yet >.<
But I feel so unmotivated to finish it, because I know what happens next, not to mention that there's something about it that hasn't really grabbed me yet.
With these thoughts in mind I was prepared for a lackluster spring season....until my brother showed me the De-cultured version of the first episode of Macross Frontier.
And wow was it ever amazing. Now I'm not familiar at all with the franchise, but the first episode explains the setting pretty well. Not to mention the animation is stunning, seriously it's almost like a movie. The first episode I watched, wasn't exactly the first broadcast episode. It was a preview episode that aired in December. And it's pretty epic for a preview, it must have been harsh to wait until April if you've seen the preview in December >.<
Anyways, the setting takes place in the year 2059, and in the past there was a war with an alien race called the Zentradi. Because of this first encounter humanity is almost driven to extinction. As a result, humanity has taken off to space on colonization ships to every corner of the galaxy. The story begins on the emigration fleet Macross Frontier.

The guy in the middle is the main protagonist Saotome Alto.
The girl on the right with the green hair is Ranka Lee.
And finally the one on the left is Sheryl Nome, a famous pop idol.
These three seem to be the main protagonist of the series, but from the opening it looks like there's going to be a huge cast of characters.

The De-cultured episode, in my opinion, is pretty epic. With an introduction to the characters and pretty intense battle scenes. There's a lot of action going on in one episode. But one of my favorite parts that stuck out to me is during Sheryl's concert. She's on a tour in the Macross Frontier and during her first concert there, the military encounter unknown hostile aliens.
During the scene it basically kind of shows her singing and the battle scene at the same time.
It's really well done and the action matches with the song.

<lj-embed id="1" />

So yeah, I guess that ends my fangirly rambling ^-^;
So far with the three episodes I've seen, it looks to be a promising series, and I really can't wait to see the rest of it ^-^

PLAY!

So this evening me and my brother and our friends went to PLAY! And I have one thing to say about it, it was AMAZING!

Ok my brother and I we're riding with one of our friends to go, and then I had a call from my friend, Prophet, asking if we could pick him up. It's kind of funny, he bought his tickets the day of the concert. So we pick him up, and we drive to Ft. Worth. All I can say is that we at least looped around and area twice in downtown, and I think we almost ran over some pedestrians that were crossing the street. So we finally found a parking spot within walking distance of the Bass Hall, and it's $5 to park. While we were walking we saw a couple of people carrying instrument cases, so we thought they must have been part of the orchestra and were late.

Finally we arrive and we enter the lobby, and man was it packed >.< There were people everywhere. Not to mention there we're a couple of people cosplaying as well. They we're mostly Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy VII. I saw two Sephiroths, one Aerith, and one Sora there ^-^;. So we're in the lobby and Rob and I buy the shirts they're selling. Mines a small, but it still looks big on me >.<. Then we go to box office get our tickets and find our seats. Man we we're pretty high up there, just three rows away from the very top row >.<. So we sit and chat until the lights dim and then the concert starts.

The first song that plays is the PLAY! fanfare, which is pretty catchy. The sound is amazing even from where we we're sitting o^-^o. The program book said that they we're going to play Liberi Fatali next, but instead they played Blue Dragon >.< I was a bit disappointed in that. But the next song totally made up for it with Super Mario Bros. Now that was awesome. There were three big screens above the orchestra showing the video games and the audience totally laughed at some parts of Mario. But what was funny was, that one of the members, put on a Mario hat while they were playing.

The next song was from a game called Lost Odyssey, I didn't really know it but the music's pretty and it looked interesting from the video on the screens. There was Sonic which was pretty cool. But one of the songs that stood out for me was the Metal Gear Solid theme *-*. It was so epic! And sounded really nice with the orchestra, not to mention I saw Ocelot on the big screen XD The next songs that they played were Castlevania and Kingdom Hearts which were really neat. I liked how they combined Hikari and Passion together ^-^.

After that there was a short intermission, and I saw a Rude cosplayer talk to the people in the row behind us. I really wanted to ask him for his picture cause he was really good, but I don't think the staff would have appreciated that, not to mention that it wasn't exactly the right time >.<. After the intermission, the orchestra started off with music from Elder Scrolls Oblivion, which was pretty nice. But one of my favorites was the music from Chrono Cross/ Trigger. It was so pretty! =w= and I love the violin parts. World of Warcraft was next which was nice, and then in the program book it was supposed to be Silent Hill, but apparently they had to change it. So instead they played music from Guildwars. I was so disappointed T_T, I really wanted to hear the Theme of Laura or something from Silent Hill. The next was Halo, and then Zelda, which I think everyone loved. And finally the ending song was One-Winged Angel, which sounded pretty epic with the choir singing in it.

When, One-Winged Angel was over, we got an encore and the conductor asked the audience to pick a song to play again. There was a lot of shouting going on, but I think the loudest was the people behind me saying Silent Hill. It finally quieted down, but one guy randomly shouted at the conductor, "Why don't you play some Silent Hill" or something like that. I thought he was going to throw his baton at the guy for saying that ^-^; So in the end they played One-Winged Angel again ^-^;

It was finally over and we had to go back down stairs, and man they have a lot of stairs at the Bass Hall. The lobby was pretty crowded, but I think the biggest traffic jam was the group of cosplayers there. Because everyone crowded around them wanting to take a picture. So we left the Bass Hall and started walking back to the parked car, and surprisingly on the way we saw some of the orchestra members leaving, and one of them told us to have a good night ^-^. So to top the night off we all went to eat at Ihop, mmm..pancakes.

So despite some minor disappointments, PLAY! was really fun and a treat to see. I would recommend anyone to go if they are stopping by your area ^-^.

Yay and update!

So yeah school's going to start soon and I only signed up for two classes so far because I didn't register earl enough so all the classes got filled -_-; But I'll probably be doing some classes over the summer so that'll be good.

Got the talk with my parents about what college I'm going to go to and what I'm going to do, I just kind of stared at them blankly and didn't say anything. Because honestly I really don't know exactly what I want to do yet *sigh*

In other news some fandom things have been getting to me lately, mainly from the megaten fandom. Now I don't hate the fandom at all, in fact I love it. I love the mythology they put in every series, and the unique story lines. But I guess the one thing that bugs me about it is the elitism. I mean in every fandom it's there, heck even I do it sometimes, but right now I'm a little bothered.
And most of this started with Persona 3. I guess I understand that if you played the older games you'd like them better than the spin-offs, and who knows they probably are. But to me, as someone who started with the spin off series, I feel really put off from the older games. It's not because they're darker than anything, I mean I've read the story lines, and I think they're interesting. But I hear a lot about how the older games are better than the spin-offs and it just bugs me. They're supposed to be different concepts, that doesn't make it any less good. Also they still have the same feel to them, the same roots. But in the end it's all a matter of opinion. I guess I'm just sick of all the bitching going on, I mean I just want everyone to stop and just enjoy the games and not bother with stupid things like how the original is better than the rest, or how it's selling out. I just want to enjoy the games! >.<

Happy (really late) New Year gais!

Wow I so need to dust off this LJ, it's been what months since I wrote in it?
Anyway lots of stuff went on for this year, some have been really awesome, others not. But man was it a trip. Graduation was this year, and it was kind of odd, I don't really see most of my high school friends anymore, and it's kind of sad. But things are going ok.

But this summer shall be the one remembered as cosplay workshop! My friends and I worked so hard on our costumes and skit >.<. But you know what, it was totally worth it. Being up on that stage at A-fest and performing the skit we worked hard on over the summer was one of the most memorable experiences at a convention! I was so surprised at how well it was received! ^^
Not to mention I made some awesome friends there; Ochiba-san, VII Fangirl I love you guys! And I hope we get to meet up and hang out some more at future conventions!

Aside, from that, most of the year has been filled with work and school. I've never worked so much at Gamestop than I did this holiday season @.@.

Speaking of holidays, they we're ok. On Thanksgiving I got to see my uncle's new house, it has a pretty view of the lake! I ate a lot and then went to my cousin's house to play Guitar Hero and Pump it up, twas very fun =w=. Christmas was ok, we went to eat dim sum, and watched National Treasure 2, I liked it, but I've never seen the first one >.<. Then had a family party at another cousin's house, we had hot pot *yummy*. But not all our cousins came T_T. Apparently one of the aunts had an argument with another one and they decided not to come. That was one of the downers for me this Christmas. I remember last year's was so much fun! It was crazy, there was food, and we made human pyramids and took lots of pictures! And everyone was there, I got to see my cousin before he left for college in California too! ><
But this year I didn't get to see them at all, I miss them. Maybe that's why It wasn't a very spirited Christmas for me -_-.

But aside from that it was a good year. I hope that the next year will be better than the last filled with many memorable and awesome moments!

Persona 3!

After all that waiting I finally have Persona 3....and it's amazing! I love the main character! He's so cute! And social links are so much fun, though I'm a little annoyed at Kenji at the moment ><. But OMG Junpei is adorable and I want to glomp him. ^-^ I haven't gotten that far in the game, I don't even have Akihito T-T, but I'm slowly progressing ^^. I'll probably post fanart of Persona 3 later =w=.

An emo entry

Today is one of those days that I have a lot of thoughts and feelings on my mind that I just can't talk about it to anyone. I guess that's what LJs for, to put down thoughts. The thing is that I feel like my thoughts are so jumbled that I really don't know what I'm talking about, so this will probably not make any sense at all.
I'm probably overly paranoid, but sometimes I get the feeling that my friends are disliking me or maybe thinking I'm annoying. I know that it's silly and stupid in retrospect, but thats just I guess how I feel at certain points. And usually after I feel that, I end up thinking how stupid I am for thinking that. This leads up to me feeling like a horrible person. As anyone can tell I'm a pretty emotional person. Today is an example of that, I hung out with a friend and it was really fun, but I guess I felt out of place as she and my brother had this conversation while I was on the computer. And at that point I was thinking how isolated I really am from everyone, how I'm boring, how..I don't know, just something, a mixture of frustration, and saddness I guess. Sometimes I don't get why I feel this way, why can't I just take things in stride. I feel so horrible. Maybe I'm a bad person, or there's something wrong with me. I mean, I get irritated over small things, for example if a person doesn't agree with me, or they dislike something I like. It just feels so childish in retrospect, and I wonder why I can't get rid of those feelings. There are a lot of people in the world who have it worse off than me, and here I am complaining about something so insignificant, maybe I really am childish. Funny, I thought I had grown at least a little this fall, but maybe I still have a long way to go.

Umm.....

Finally an update! Whoo hoo! Anyway, sometimes I wonder why I have this journal sometimes, I hardly updated it, but oh well. But yeah, my birthday was the 27th of last month, go me! I am officially 17 years old! Now I can go buy rated M games without getting carded!^-^v.
Anyway lately I've been playing the Final Fanasies for the PS and I want to buy them, but Gamestop doesn't stock PS games anymore >.<. I have to say FF7 is pretty fun, I just love Cloud and his blocky dorkiness in the game ^-^, and I still think Yuffie rocks even if she stole all my materia. FF8 is ok, Squall's incredibly emo, but he's interesting, and Selphie is the greatest thing since sliced bread. She's so cute! ^-^
I seem to find myself gravitating to the secondary female characters of the FF games.I don't know, but their hyperactive qualities amuse me, and the main heroines of the games don't appeal to me as much, with the exception of FF6, because Terra is all kinds of cool. Maybe I'm just channeling my dislike for Rinoa into this ^-^;, because Aerith is ok, and so is Yuna, oh well.
Oh yeah! my friends and I just got into cosplay, and we really want to do it when we go to Anime Fest, I plan on going as Yuffie from Advent Children and Consuelo wants to go as Gum from Jet Grind Radio. I can't wait to start, since this is our first cosplay I really want to get this right, so wish us luck! ^-^

Brother's graduation

Well today was my brother's graduation, but not only his but my two friends too. The convention center was pretty big and all the graduates looked kind of small. But yeah it was odd seeing him in the cap and gown, it's like the realization that we're all growing up and moving on with the world. Next year is my turn, and honestly I feel scared. It's like when your a kid and you think that graduation is such a long time ahead, then it hits you how really close it is. So for the summer and next year I'm going to make the most of the time I have left to be a kid.
With that out of the way I would like to say congratulations to my brother, and my best friends ,Consuelo and Krista, you did it!

Been a awhile

Wow! I neglected this again, maybe it's because I'm too lazy to write anything. Anyway, here's an update, I've finally gotten out of IB *cheers* it was a hard decision but I realized that it wasn't for me. So with that out of the way I can just focus on the AP tests. But that hasn't been going well since I got Kingdom Hearts II. Oh my god that game is fun, I swear it's like crack, and Sora's even more adorable now than in the first one, it makes me want to glomp him ^0^.
Man I can't wait for summer to be here! I now I want to cosplay! But the problem is that everyone can't decide who they want to be. Oh well we have until the summer. This school year has gone by really fast, I can't believe that I'm going to be a senior next year. ^-^

Sora has such a cute singing voice in the Japanese version of KH II. My friends and I just had a fangirl moment when we were watching this clip.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V34PM4VM2TU&search=kingdom%20hearts%20II%20under%20the%20sea

They sing "Under the sea" In Atlantica, and it's the most adorable thing.
Oh yeah and I just found out that the japanese word for jazz band is jazz band. ^-^

Stress...or something like it

Well I guess today was...ok..and what I mean by ok is that it started out good but got bad. IB really has me stressed now. I mean an extended essay is ok, I can handle that, but I just found out I have to do a ten minute oral presentation for spanish and answer questions...in spanish. And I guess I feel really..I don't know not depressed or stressed really, but kind of closed in, like I can't breath. Maybe all this work is crushing my spirit or something, I don't know, but it feels like it. I mean I want to quit, but there's a side of me that doesn't. I don't know what to do, but I'll just wait and see what happens.

I really should write more in this, it's been about a month or so since I last actually said anything in here ^-^; Anyway where to begin, well, so far the second tri of school has been for the most part annoying. The reason it's so annoying is because of two things, Spanish and TOK. Argg, I just can't seem to get the hang of the language! And TOK would be an ok class, but the teacher annoys me a bit. *sigh* Oh well, moving on, my friend brought her laptop today, it's so cool and spiffy. We were watching anime with it in the morning ^-^ it was fun. Only three more days until Winter Break, I can't wait!

Wow it's been so long since I updated 0.0! Well I blame that on school *stabs homework* Gah! Junior year is so busy! so much homework. One thing for sure now is that I HATE writing papers, especially World Lit papers that bring so much stress into my life. They are EVIL! And I know I'll get a bad grade on it because I half assed some of it just to get to the word count >.< Anyway I'm typing this on my brother's computer because mine died on me a month ago >.< I gave it to a friend to fix it and it turns out I have A LOT of viruses on there, so many it's not even funny. So yeah, I'm hoping I get it back soon. But since the tri's almost over I can relax a little. Oh yeah another thing is I got a job working at my parent's restaurant, all I do is answer the phone and take orders, but it's an ok job, the waiters and waitreses working there are nice and I get paid, so it's all good. Going to a friend's house today for a party, no Philipino barbeque though *tear*, but it'll be so much fun to hang out again.

Started driving school yesterday, it's kind of boring so far. Alot of paper work. But the cool thing is that I get my permit on the third day, which is tomorrow. I'm kind of nervous, but I can't wait to drive. Anyway I got to finish reading my Harry Potter. *runs off with to go read*

Had a Loveless marathon with my friends yesterday, it was fun. But got kind of depressing in the end with the news of what was going on in London. Not to mention I found out that one of my friends there didn't enjoy it at all, more like it was boring to her and she wanted it to end. Yeah so here's update on my life.
